Mayor Reid Hammer-Jackson
Biography
Reid is a life-long Kamloopsian, having been in Kamloops since 1973. He is an avid community volunteer and contributor and also runs a local business in town – TRU Market Truck and Auto Sales. Reid is a member of the Performing Arts Center Society and is a sponsor of local arts and recreation. Reid holds the title of father, husband, uncle, business owner, and lifelong community member.
Mayor Hammer-Jackson was first elected in 2022, with the goal of increasing community safety, working to provide attainable housing, and investing in sustainable infrastructure to ensure that Kamloops is a more prosperous town for everyone.
